Bone broth is one of the best ways to heal your gut with food. It can support a healthy response to inflammation, promote glowing skin, and help maintain healthy joints. While bone broth can be enjoyed in all it’s plain, savory, goodness, there are certainly ways to make it even more enjoyable! This Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte is the perfect way to bring out delicious flavor and boost inflammation-fighting nutrients. You won’t find another Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte recipe that is not only AIP, Paleo, and dairy-free — it’s also absolutely delicious.

What is a Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte?

This Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte is the perfect, nutritious drink to sip on throughout your day. It’s soothing, delicious, and offers your body a ton of great health benefits. Here are some of the healthy ingredients in this recipe:

Bone Broth Collagen Protein Powder

Bone broth is rich in vitamins, minerals, and gut-healing collagen and gelatin. Both homemade bone broth and protein powders such as this chicken-flavored Bone Broth Collagen Protein contain ample amounts of nutrients. This includes calcium, magnesium, and various amino acids.

Because bone broth is full of protein and amino acids, it can assist your body in so many ways. Bone broth can support essential body functions by providing you with the nutrients needed to build and repair muscles throughout the body. That includes your gut! Which is why I recommend including bone broth or Bone Broth Collagen Protein as a part of a healthy diet to help treat leaky gut.

Coconut Oil

Pairing bone broth and spices such as turmeric with a source of fat helps to ensure that all the nutrients are more readily absorbed by the body.

While ghee is a particularly gut-soothing and flavorful fat that is featured in many turmeric lattes, it is not completely AIP (it is clarified butter). The good news is that coconut oil is the perfect, dairy-free option that can provide your body with medium-chain triglycerides to promote energy, fat-metabolism, and brain health.

Ginger and Turmeric

These warming and delicious spices have been known to demonstrate anti-inflammatory properties. They also provide extra flavor to this bone broth latte, and turmeric is what gives this latte its Golden Milk name.

How to Make Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte

This Golden Milk Bone Broth Latte is incredibly easy to make. It’s a great way to give your body a boost of energy in the morning or to squeeze in a mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

First, heat your water. You can use a kettle or a pot on the stove. Alternatively, you could heat the water using a mug in the microwave, however, you have to make sure it does not reach its boiling point.

Add the hot water, Bone Broth Collagen Protein and regular Collagen Protein, coconut oil, turmeric, and ginger to a blender. Carefully place the lid on the blender and blend until frothy.

Then simply pour into a mug and serve immediately!
