My Organic Greens Supplement Is Delicious

I’ve been following The Myers Way® for years, and at this point in my practice, I’ve literally tried it all. Many of the greens powders I’ve purchased over the years tasted so bad, I had to throw them out! My Organic Greens taste great, and unlike other brands, they do it with certified organic ingredients! You won’t find any added sugars, artificial flavors, GMOs, or any other nasty ingredients.

Organic Greens : Get Your greens On The Go!

As a Functional Medicine physician, I travel quite a bit, and finding organic fruits and vegetables in the hotel restaurant or anywhere nearby is sometimes impossible! The alternative? Trying to find a way to buy them in a health food store near your hotel and somehow cook them, or bringing your own salad dressing through airport security… you can see that this is not ideal (or sometimes not even a possibility). Organic Greens to the rescue! No messy oils, no cooking, no airport hassle! Just mix a scoop into a glass of water or juice and you’re way ahead of the game!

Organic Greens Saves You A Ton of Money

Have you been to a juice bar recently? The prices are astronomical. My team and I visited a few, and what we found was… not so great. First of all, almost nothing’s certified organic, and yet, the prices you’ll pay suggest they were grown fertilized only with gold dust. In our research, we discovered 30 servings of juice at a juice bar made from ingredients similar to those you’ll find in my powdered Organic Greens would cost you $255.00! Yikes! That’s over SIX TIMES more expensive per serving!

Organic Greens Saves You Time

Forget about juicing yourself. Organic Greens will save you loads of time. Juicers are expensive, all the organic produce you need to juice is expensive, and the time spent pulling out the juicer, putting it together, washing and cutting veggies, actually juicing them, then breaking down and cleaning the machine before you put it away can take up your ENTIRE morning. With Organic Greens, you get a refreshing beverage chock full of nutrients from organic ingredients, with just one simple scoop!

Certified Organic Peace of Mind With Organic Greens

Organic Greens are so much better for you! The problems with getting your juice from a grocery store are many. As I said earlier, some choices available  may not always been from organic ingredients. That means you may be exposed to traces of pesticides and other nasty chemicals every time you take a sip of your juice. And besides the fact that a single serving of any of these store-bought brands can cost you up to $9.00 a serving, there’s another big problem we need to discuss…the plastic bottle! Many consumers now avoid drinking from plastic bottles to avoid additional potential exposure to other unwanted compounds.  Organic Greens is certified organic, and specially dried and powdered, to help preserve nutritional value and allow you the convenience and peace of mind of being able to make it in your own kitchen using your own kitchenware.

FAQs

What is Organic Greens made of?

My Organic Greens formula is made from 14 powdered USDA certified organic superfoods. I also add a touch of stevia extract and monk fruit extract for a lightly sweet flavor.

Can my child use Organic Greens?

Because Organic Greens contains adaptogenic herbs like maca & ashwagandha, as well as turmeric root & ginger root for inflammation balance, you should check with your child’s pediatrician or other healthcare provider before supplementing with Organic Greens.

What time of day should I take Organic Greens?

Organic Greens is perfect at any time of the day. I like it in my morning smoothies, and I have patients, family, and friends that tell me they enjoy it at all times of the day. You’ll find that it’s great around the clock!

Is Organic Greens okay to use while pregnant or nursing?

Because Organic Greens contains adaptogenic herbs like maca & ashwagandha, as well as turmeric root & ginger root for inflammation balance, you should check with your child’s pediatrician or other healthcare provider before supplementing with Organic Greens.

Is Organic Greens okay to use in hot beverages or cooking?

Yes! While very high heat will damage some of the nutrients, enzymes, and phytochemicals, most of the nutritional benefits will remain intact due to the special drying and steam treating process the organic plant foods undergo before processing.

Is Organic Greens AIP approved?

Organic Greens contains small amounts of two ingredients derived from sunflower & ashwagandha, neither of which are technically AIP approved foods. However, the derived ingredients (lecithin, a fatty component of sunflower oil & withanolides, a steroid like phytochemical found in ashwagandha root) are only specific extracts (they do not contain the whole food or herb), and are specially processed to remove the offending alkaloids and inflammatory proteins usually found in them. This means that most people following an AIP diet will tolerate Organic Greens extremely well! If you have a diagnosed allergy to any ingredient in my Organic Greens formula, please speak to your allergist or doctor before using the product.

How come there are fewer scoops in my pouch than the number listed on the label?

The listed amount of scoops per pouch is an approximation and can vary based on personal use such as how full you make your scoops, spilling it, how well you scrape out the pouch, etc. While the number listed is an approximation, it shouldn't vary considerably versus what you get.

Why do you use Stevia in your products?

As you know, the first pillar of The Myers Way® is to remove foods such as sugar, alcohol, and processed foods to help promote gut health. While following the first 30 days of The Myers Way®, I recommend avoiding all sugars, including naturally-derived sweeteners. This is particularly important if you’re addressing gut balance and supporting the gut microbiome.

However, if you’ve completed the protocol, you might be ready to enjoy the occasional, naturally sweetened indulgence!

I want to set you up for success so I only use naturally-derived sweeteners in my products. “Stevia” is a great natural sweetener used as a sugar substitute.

What is Stevia?

Stevia is a sweetener that is derived from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant which is native to Paraguay and Brazil.

How does Stevia compare to other sweeteners?

“Stevia’s” sweetness comes from steviol glycosides, which are between 50 and 300 times as sweet as sugar. It is a considered a naturally-derived alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners that may be gentler and more supportive of gut health and balance.

Is Stevia bad for you?

There have been a lot of stories about Stevia in the news which has caused some concern about using this ingredient in products and food you consume. The reason “Stevia” has been in the news is that it’s been found that several manufacturers have bulked up their “Stevia” by adding other artificial sweeteners, namely erythritol. We use only 100% organic “Stevia” in our products and none of our products contain erythritol.

Why am I receiving a Prop 65 warning on some Amy Myers MD® products?

Prop 65 requires a disclaimer for supplements that contain soil-based ingredients. All of my products are 100% organic and many are plant-based or sourced from the soil. I have personally hand-selected each ingredient to ensure that you receive the highest quality ingredients available, and that they are both safe and effective. I have been using the Organic Greens for quite awhile now and I do find they are great at reducing toxins and neutrilizing them so they can leave the body. I have had some bad symptoms to stop and so I will continue to eat healthy and drink my greens. I put them in a cup of tea or a smoothie. It taste good.

    These greens are the best!

They taste great and they are good for you. I usually had them to my protein shake, but I have also dumped the scoop into a glass, added water, and stirred. There was no bitter taste at all. It was actually a very pleasant taste that surprised me.

I am comparing this product to another company's greens. Unfortunately, I am not as happy with your greens. They smell very strong, and make me cough as I am bringing the scoop out of the package.
